Several supra-regional bicycle tours run through the municipal area of Buchen. More information, suitable maps and further suggestions for tours are available at the tourist office and in local bookshops.

At the Hollersee in Buchen or the Morre in Hettigenbeuern it is possible to go fishing. Permits are available from April until October against production of a fishing license, for the Hollersee at the tourist office Buchen and for the Morre from the district mayor in Hettigenbeuern.
