Also, in case of extensions creating new jobs, financial aid from the federal state, the state and the European Union are available. Essential procedures to restructure, modernise and rationalise your business are also eligible for financial aid.
Founders of new businesses are provided with grants and long-term fixed rate loans by the state and the federal state. They offer young entrepreneurs planning dependability for the start-up phase of their independent project.
The business location Buchen (Odenwald) disposes of an excellent choice of industrial real estate at the substituted fixed rate of € 25.- per sqm (plus € 2.50 per sqm sewage contribution). On request we also offer to reserve an additional plot up to the size of the original business estate of every new company. Eligible for support are the founding of new businesses, expansion, as long as an appropriate number of jobs will be preserved or newly created, and also the takeover of businesses threatened by closure or ones that have already been closed down, again as long as an appropriate number of jobs will be preserved or created. Support is also available for restructuring, modernisation and rationalisation measurements. Only the costs for investments in assets will be financed. This involves the cost of property, buildings, construction, investments, machines, tools, facilities and, if appropriate, the takeover cost.
Support is available for commercial businesses including industry, trade, tourism, and the service sector.
Eligible for support are procedures from the two main focus points of the ELR program: schemes to ensure the basic provision of goods and private provision of services for the general public (focus point ‘basic provision’) as well as the construction, takeover, expansion and relocation of businesses (focus point ‘work performance’).
Costs of site purchases and building works (new constructions and modifications) as well as costs of setting up the business will be financed. Vehicles, storehouses and operating resources will not be financed.
