Inter-Communal Business Park (IGO)
The Inter-Communal Business Park Odenwald (IGO) is a special purpose association with an office in Buchen. It is an amalgamation of Buchen with the neighbouring communities Limbach and Mudau.
In the IGO business park about 40 hectares of industrial real estate are available, all of which are located within a legally binding development plan in the proximity of the Bundesstrasse (A-road) B 27.
The cities Buchen, Limbach und Mudau are the partners of the inter-communal business park (IGO).
About 70,000 people are living in the central area, a considerable potential of qualified workforce.

This reservation is of course free of charge and provides the possibility to plan ahead for possible expansions. Plots from a minimum of 1,000 square metres are available for immediate construction in the so-called “Areal 3”.
These estates are in close vicinity to the special shopping area where OBI (DIY), the E-Center (shopping centre) and McDonalds are located and thus they are a beneficial investment given that they will retain their value as a business real estate.

The area has two direct link roads to the B 27 (A-road) via the exits Buchen-Süd and Buchen-Ost and is clearly visible from the A-road. The main access road Carl-Benz-Straße into the IGO business park also facilitates the immediate continuation towards the A 81 (motorway) (junction Osterburken).
Within the three years since the first development 20 enterprises have already been located there – proof for the appeal of the area, which has been recognised as a substantial high-flyer!
